We would like to inform you about an important product change on the part of the manufacturer 3M™. As part of ongoing product improvement, the backing paper used for 3M™ Safety-Walk™ anti-slip coverings has been modified.

The brown backing paper used previously has been replaced by the innovative 3M Controltac™ liner material. This new material differs in color and texture and is easier to remove.

Advantages of the new liner material:

• 3M Controltac™ technology: allows the traction material to be repositioned before final adhesion.
• 3M Comply™ technology: integrates air release channels for bubble-free, clean application.

Schedule for the changeover

The changeover began in June 2025. Please note:

• Products with the previous design are now only available in limited quantities.
• No forecast can be given regarding the further availability or distribution of the older formulation.
