3M™ is working intensively to manufacture all products without per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) by the end of 2025. This is the manufacturer's response to new legal requirements and increasing demands for sustainable solutions.

What does this mean for you?

From October 1, 2025, the following product will be produced in a reformulated, PFAS-free version:

Designation: 5699

New production start: October 1, 2025

The previous formulation is expected to be available for only a short time. If you have larger requirements, we recommend planning ahead.

Quality remains guaranteed

3M™ is testing the new version in accordance with the strict standards IATF-16949 and ISO-9001. Samples can be requested if required. According to the manufacturer, resampling (PPAP) is not necessary.

Your security

If a product does not meet the specifications, 3M™ will offer a replacement or refund of the purchase price as usual – so you are on the safe side.
