3M switches production to PFAS-free products – important changes from the end of 2025

3M has announced that it will discontinue the manufacture of all products containing PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated substances) by the end of 2025. This also affects products from the Dual Lock™ range that you have purchased from us.
Important information at a glance:
- Changeover: Starting in October 2025, 3M will begin switching to PFAS-free formulations.
- Final deadline: As of November 30, 2025, the previous formulations will no longer be available.

- Quality: The revised products have been certified in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. The product specifications remain unchanged.
- Note: Please continue to check for yourself whether the new formulations are suitable for your application.
- Availability: Remaining stocks of the previous versions are only available in limited quantities.
