We would like to inform you of a change to the PET liner used in 3M™ 9731 double-sided adhesive tape, which will take place in the third quarter.

The new liner has a silicone-free, non-fluorinated release chemistry and the same thickness. Customers may find that the PET liner is easier to remove from the silicone side of the adhesive tape. All other aspects of the product remain the same, as there are no additional changes to the other raw materials or the manufacturing process of the product.

As an authorized distributor and converter of 3M products, we have been informed that this change should not affect form or function, but it is your responsibility to decide whether a product is suitable for your specific requirements.
