Beschreibung
The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Roloc™ Edge Disc 1184F was specially developed for grinding applications with medium to high contact pressure where compact discs with high wear resistance are required. It particularly excels in edge finishing thanks to its combination of high stock removal, long service life, and process reliability.
At the heart of the wheel is the advanced 3M precision-shaped grain. The optimized grain geometry with curved sides ensures that sharp cutting edges are maintained for longer. As a result, the wheel enables exceptionally fast material removal—even at reduced contact pressure.
An integrated grinding aid promotes cool grinding, particularly on stainless steel as well as cobalt-chromium and nickel alloys. This significantly reduces heat build-up, tempering colors, and the risk of stress cracks.
The laminated, two-layer polyester backing ensures high stability and uniform wear throughout the entire service life. Thanks to the 3M™ Roloc™ quick-change system, discs can be replaced quickly and safely—ideal for efficient work processes with minimal downtime.
This high-performance disc ensures consistent productivity, reduced user fatigue, and a maximum number of workpieces processed per disc.
