The 3M™ Specialty Respirator line was developed for specific work environments where, in addition to dust, odors or low concentrations of certain gases and vapors may be present. The masks are available in protection classes FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 and provide reliable respiratory protection against dust and mist.
An integrated activated carbon layer reduces unpleasant odors and, depending on the model, can also protect against low concentrations of organic vapors, acidic gases, or ozone. This makes the masks particularly suitable for applications such as welding or waste sorting.
The lightweight, pre-shaped, and dimensionally stable design ensures high wearing comfort. The convex shape, a soft inner face seal, the adjustable nose clip, and flexible head straps support a good fit for different face sizes. The textile, color-coded straps facilitate quick identification of the respective protection level: yellow for FFP1, blue for FFP2, and red for FFP3.
The masks are designed for optimal combination with 3M eye and hearing protection products, thereby supporting a comprehensive protection concept.
