• The 3M™ Series 5 clear visors, made of polycarbonate and acetate, are certified to EN 166:2001 and protect against high-velocity particles, UV radiation, and liquid and molten metal splashes.
• The 3M™ Series 5 mesh visors are certified to EN 1731:2006 and protect against flying wood chips and twigs
• 3M™ Series 5 clear visors offer protection against UV, IR (heat), and/or intense visible light
• 3M™ Series 5 Clear Visors are curved or flat visors made of polycarbonate or acetate. They feature an anti-fog coating and meet optical Class 1 standards, providing Grade B protection against high-velocity, medium-energy particles (120 m/s) or Grade F protection against high-velocity, low-energy particles (45 m/s).

The 3M™ Series 5 Clear Visors are a range of polycarbonate, acetate, and mesh visors certified to EN 166:2001 and EN 1731:2006 that protect against high-velocity particles and other hazards when working in industrial or forestry settings. These visors are designed for use with 3M™ SecureFit™ X5000, X5500, and G3000 safety helmets, as well as the G500 headgear

All 3M™ Series 5 clear visors are certified to EN 166 and protect against hazards encountered in industrial settings, such as high-velocity particles, UV and IR radiation, light from secondary welding, and liquid and molten metal splashes. All 3M™ Series 5 mesh visors are certified to EN 1731:2006 and protect the eyes and face from flying wood chips and twigs. At the same time, they ensure fog-free vision and better ventilation during strenuous outdoor work. Our range of transparent, green, and gold-tinted polycarbonate visors features an anti-fog coating and is available in both curved and flat designs. They meet optical Class 1 standards, and all Series 5 visors provide Grade B protection against high-velocity, medium-energy particles (120 m/s), except for the 5A-CP, which provides Grade F protection against high-velocity, low-energy particles (45 m/s). With the exception of the 5XG-IR5 and 5A-CP, all 3M™ Series 5 clear and mesh visors are designed for the 3M™ G500 headgear and the G3000 and G3501 series safety helmets using the 3M™ V5 visor attachment system. 3M™ Series 5 mesh visors and 5F-11 and 5E-11 clear visors are also suitable for the 3M™ X5000 SecureFit™ Series with the U5B visor attachment system. The visor snaps into place quickly and easily with the visor holder. All Series 5 visors are compatible with the 3M™ V9 Integrated Full-View Safety Goggles for Safety Helmets, 3M™ PELTOR™ Earmuffs, and Hearing Protection Headsets. The heat-reflective (IR) 5XG-IR5 visor is designed for attachment to the 3M™ G3501 safety helmet using the V5 visor attachment system.
