The Scotch-Brite™ non-woven belt DF-BL is ideal for deburring, matting, and finishing all stainless steel and steel components, as well as removing tarnish. This non-woven belt also guarantees the application of a defined finish on large surfaces as well as a reduction in surface roughness. In addition, this belt is also used for applications on wood and plastics.

The tear-resistant, flexible design of the non-woven product is characterized by exceptional edge stability and delivers excellent results on tightly rounded shapes. The low-stretch backing is particularly suitable for heavy-duty applications and is ideal, among other things, as a filing belt. The even distribution of the abrasive grain guarantees extended service life and consistent results at all times. Thanks to the non-woven fabric technology, a uniform, reproducible surface finish is achieved without altering the geometry of the workpiece. Operating speeds of up to 30 m/s are possible, and it is also very well suited for finishing pre-grinding operations with 3M™ Cubitron™ II abrasives.
