Scotch-Brite™ non-woven belts SC-BS for finishing work are used for matting stainless steel, brass, copper, and aluminum. They are specifically designed for use as filing and short belts.

Thanks to the open structure of the non-woven fabric and the resulting high flexibility, the belt follows contours and surfaces and adapts to the workpiece. New abrasive minerals are continuously active without undercutting the workpiece, while maintaining critical tolerances. The homogeneous distribution of abrasives ensures a uniform, reproducible surface finish. Thanks to a built-in lubricant, these non-woven belts are ideal for dry grinding, but can also be used with all common grinding additives.
