The Scotch-Brite™ "Clean and Strip General Purpose" (CG) coarse cleaning material is more flexible than the "XT" coarse cleaning material, yet just as aggressive. The Scotch-Brite™ CG-RD coarse cleaning disc features an integrated glass fiber backing and can be used directly on an angle grinder without any additional accessories.
This high-performance coarse cleaning disc offers significantly longer service life compared to standard black Clean & Strip discs. This product was specifically developed for cleaning before and after welding in metalworking, as well as for removing rust and other coatings in workshops or industrial manufacturing.
