The 3M™ Elite random orbit sander without dust extraction is ergonomically designed and features a powerful motor as well as an extended, curved wrist rest. It is comfortable to control, and the recessed lever platform prevents pinching and pressure marks on the user’s palm. Our sander enables optimal sanding and preparation on numerous surfaces such as wood, metal being prepared for painting, fiberglass, and composite materials, as well as many other surfaces. These industrial sanders rotate the sanding disc and sanding pad in two overlapping oval motion patterns. As a result, no abrasive grain follows the same path twice, so you get a finish free of swirl marks, even when sanding against the grain. The composite cover of our lightweight tool absorbs vibrations, and the internal silencer dampens noise. A convenient dial on the side allows you to comfortably adjust the speed with your thumb. The pneumatic power enables many continuous hours of operation and far exceeds that of conventional electric sanders (high-pressure hose and air compressor sold separately). The 3M™ Hookit™ sanding pad (included) absorbs shocks and vibrations, ensuring smooth operation. Our pad ensures excellent adhesion of the disc while still allowing for quick and easy replacement. Our sander is a model without a dust extraction system, designed for applications that do not require dust extraction.
