3M File Belt Machine

The 3M™ belt sander for automotive bodywork was specifically designed for precise cutting, grinding, and cleaning tasks in vehicle repair. It combines high performance with a compact design, enabling efficient work even in hard-to-reach areas.

Powered by a robust 495-watt motor, the machine delivers sufficient power for demanding tasks such as cutting sheet metal, removing spot welds, or deburring and finishing metal surfaces. Despite its high performance, it impresses with its lightweight design, which makes handling easier and reduces fatigue during extended use.

A special feature is the fully rotatable housing. This allows the file band machine to be flexibly aligned and optimally adapted to tight spaces, folded edges, or sharp contours. This makes it the ideal solution for working between body panels or in hard-to-reach areas.

The machine is designed for use with 3M™ Cubitron™ II abrasive belts, which are known for high material removal rates and long service life. A replaceable rubber contact wheel ensures even pressure distribution, increases control during sanding, and also contributes to the longer service life of the sanding belts.
