3M Cubitron III Roughing Disc

The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 roughing disc was specially developed for heavy-duty grinding applications. Whether removing weld seams or machining stainless steel, structural steel, or aerospace alloys—it delivers impressive material removal rates and long service life.

Thanks to its special structure, the optimized 3M precision grain ensures that new, sharp cutting edges are constantly formed during grinding. As a result, the disc operates evenly, stays cool, and wears more slowly. Compared to Cubitron™ II abrasives, it offers up to 14% higher removal rates and removes up to twice as much material—with less pressure and significantly fewer disc changes.

The lowered center point allows for safe grinding from various angles. When combined with high-performance 3M angle grinders, the disc reaches its full potential and delivers consistent results even in demanding industrial applications.
