782C Fiber Discs

Designed for fast removal on structural steel, the 3M™ 782C fiber disc features exceptional cutting performance, durability, and ease of use. The performance of these discs represents a major advance over conventional fiber discs. Thanks to advanced abrasive technology, this fiber disc is an excellent choice for demanding applications such as removing welds, deburring, and surface finishing.

These fiber discs contain precision-shaped abrasive grains to optimize both speed of application and durability when working with structural steel. The disc’s construction, featuring a rigid fiber backing and a strong resin bond, ensures durability and tear resistance, so that when combined with a fast-cutting abrasive grain, more parts can be processed per disc and fewer disc changes are required overall. Standard heat-conducting structural steels, forged steels, and non-ferrous metals are all machined economically with the 3M™ 782C Fiber Disc in grits 36+, 60+, and 80+.
