The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Abrasive Belt 1184F was developed for high-performance grinding applications and offers a combination of high material removal rate, long service life, and consistent surface quality. The latest generation of precision-shaped abrasive grains ensures particularly fast machining results—even under high mechanical stress.
The version with 36+ grit is specifically suited for coarse grinding tasks requiring heavy pressure and rapid material removal. For finer applications, the 60+ and 80+ grits are available, optimized for controlled grinding at medium pressure.
The special grain shape results in less frictional heat, which not only protects the workpiece but also reduces belt wear. In addition, the belt can be used with less effort—an advantage during lengthy, manual grinding operations.
The 1184F is a reliable solution in both traditional manufacturing environments and automated sanding systems. It increases productivity through shorter processing times, consistent results, and fewer change intervals.
