3M-1184F Cubitron III High-Performance Belt

The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 cloth abrasive belt 1184F was developed specifically for professional grinding applications where efficiency, durability, and precision are required. Equipped with the latest generation of precision-shaped 3M abrasive grains, it delivers excellent results—even under high material pressure and continuous use.

In the version with 36+ grit, the abrasive belt enables particularly aggressive material removal, making it ideal for applications such as removing flash or grinding weld seams. The finer versions with 60+ and 80+ grit are ideal for grinding work at medium pressure where high performance is still required.

Thanks to optimized abrasive particles, the belt achieves a uniform, cool grind that minimizes thermal stress and improves surface quality. In addition, the belt can be used with less pressure, which reduces physical strain during manual applications.

The 1184F is suitable for both traditional workshop use and robot-assisted grinding processes – ideal for reducing downtime, increasing throughput, and ensuring consistent machining quality.
