3M-1184F Cubitron III High-Performance Belt

The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 abrasive belt 1184F sets new standards in performance and efficiency for both machine and manual grinding. The newly developed generation of precision-shaped abrasive grains ensures significantly higher material removal rates and extended service life – ideal for continuous use under high loads.

The version with 36+ grit delivers an exceptionally aggressive grinding action and, according to internal comparative tests, provides up to 86% higher removal rate than conventional ceramic abrasives. For less aggressive applications, variants in grit sizes 60+ and 80+ are available—ideal for medium pressure.

The belt offers consistent and cool grinding performance, minimizing discoloration and heat-related workpiece damage. It also operates with lower pressure, which increases user comfort during manual work.

Thanks to its robust design, the sanding belt is suitable for both traditional applications with pneumatic tools or belt sanders as well as for automated robotic use – particularly where consistent quality, reduced downtime, and reproducible processes are required.
