Beschreibung
The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 cloth abrasive belt 1184F was specifically developed for maximum efficiency and productivity in industrial grinding processes. Equipped with the latest precision-shaped abrasive grain from 3M, it delivers exceptionally high material removal rates while extending service life.
The 36+ grit achieves up to 86% more material removal compared to competing ceramic abrasives – ideal for demanding applications such as removing flash and heavy-duty grinding. For medium pressure, variants in 60+ and 80+ grit are also available.
Thanks to specially developed grain technology, the belt enables cool grinding, thereby reducing thermal discoloration on the workpiece. At the same time, it allows for operation with lower contact pressure, which reduces physical strain on the user—a clear advantage for manual work.
The 1184F has been optimized for both manual use and robot-assisted processes, helping to reduce downtime, increase process consistency, and significantly boost productivity in automated grinding applications.
