3M PPS Kit 125µ Filter

The 3M™ PPS™ cap and inner cup kits (first version) are a central component of the 3M™ PPS™ paint application system and were developed for efficient, clean, and reproducible painting processes. The kits are intended exclusively for use with first-generation 3M™ PPS™ components and are not compatible with the PPS™ Series 2.0.

Each kit contains disposable lids with a permanently integrated microfilter, matching inner cups, and sealing caps. The integrated filter ensures that the paint is reliably filtered during the spraying process and can be applied evenly. Depending on the paint type, filter variants are available for water-based or solvent-based paints.

The 3M™ PPS™ System enables the measuring, mixing, filtering, and application of paints in a single, closed system. This allows the painter to always work at a constant 90-degree angle, regardless of the workpiece’s position—even when working overhead. This reduces material loss, minimizes the risk of external contamination, and ensures a uniform paint finish.

The lid and inner cup kits are available in four sizes ranging from 180 ml to 850 ml, covering a wide range of applications—from spot touch-ups to larger repair jobs. The included caps allow uncatalysed paints to be temporarily sealed and stored safely. At the same time, the system significantly reduces solvent consumption as well as cleaning and preparation efforts.
