3M-237AA Sanding Belt

The 3M™ Trizact™ 237AA cloth abrasive belt impresses with its innovative pyramid technology, which ensures consistently high abrasive performance. Fine micron-grade aluminum oxide particles are formed into precise pyramids and applied to a durable cloth backing. During the sanding process, these pyramids wear away layer by layer, continuously releasing fresh abrasive grains. This keeps cutting performance constant and produces a uniform, planable finish.

The belt runs cooler than conventional abrasives, reducing material damage caused by overheating. Thanks to the flexible X-fabric backing, it easily conforms to contours and irregular surfaces, achieving particularly clean results. It is ideally suited for intermediate sanding, fine polishing, and preparation prior to coating or buffing processes.

The uniform grain distribution across the entire belt surface reduces the number of work steps and saves valuable processing time. The resin-bonded surface is heat-resistant and prevents grain loss, while the robust film backing ensures smooth, vibration-free belt operation.
