3M Adhesive Tape 396

Thanks to its robust polyester backing, this adhesive tape is extremely resistant to abrasion, chemicals, and high temperatures.
The rubber-resin adhesive used provides strong adhesion, even on uneven or difficult-to-bond surfaces.
Particularly well-suited for applications on polyethylene as well as other substrates with low surface energy.
In addition, the tape offers reliable temperature resistance in the range of 4 °C to 93 °C.
Ideal for low-energy surfaces where conventional adhesive tapes often fail.

This transparent adhesive tape exhibits exceptionally high initial adhesion and is ideal for splicing, fastening, reinforcing, repairing, or securing roll ends—such as with plastic woven tapes.

Thanks to its low thickness and high tensile strength, the 3M™ Polyester Adhesive Tape 396 offers flexible application. The durable polyester backing withstands temperatures up to 200 °C and is also resistant to chemical influences and mechanical stress.
