3M™ Flatback Masking Tape 2517 is a versatile, general-purpose adhesive tape for demanding web processing and splicing applications. It features a robust kraft paper backing that withstands high temperatures up to 149 °C (30 minutes) as well as moisture. Thanks to its rubber adhesive, the tape offers immediate initial adhesion on various substrates, including steel, and delivers strong holding power. At the same time, it can be removed easily and cleanly. The flatback tape is tearable by hand, machine-dispensable, and combines durability with ease of use.
