Beschreibung
The 3M™ 232 General Purpose Masking Tape ensures clean paint lines and can be easily removed without leaving residue even after use at moderate baking temperatures—even on difficult-to-work-with surfaces.
The durable crepe paper backing is treated with a special impregnating agent that prevents bleed-through from latex and oil-based paints. Thanks to its moderate conformability, it adheres reliably to edges, curves, and irregular surfaces. The natural rubber adhesive provides strong initial tack, holds securely on metal, wood, drywall, or painted surfaces, and resists curling or lifting.
The tape is heat-resistant up to 121 °C for 30 minutes and is therefore ideally suited for painting and varnishing work. In addition, it is more resistant to sunlight than conventional tapes, but should not be used for prolonged outdoor applications.
In addition to masking during painting and finishing work, the tape is also excellent for securing, protecting, bundling, or covering in numerous craft and industrial applications. Its ability to be torn by hand makes it particularly practical to use.
