3M™ Scotchcast™ Casting Resin 40 is a two-component polyurethane resin for general applications that cures at room temperature. It is supplied in a two-component plastic pouch in the correct stoichiometric ratio by tearing along a tear line.

3M™ Scotchcast™ Casting Resin 40 is suitable for electrical insulation and mechanical protection of electrical connections for use up to 1 kV. The water-repellent polyurethane resin meets the requirements of CENELEC HD631.1 S2 and complies with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS) and EU Directive 1907/2007/EC (REACH).
