3M Scotchcast Removable Cable Resin 2123D

3M™ Scotchcast™ Cable Resin 2123 is a soft, two-component potting solution for reliable sealing and electrical insulation of low-voltage cable connections. It comes in convenient pouch packaging and is particularly suitable for use in switchgear and distribution boxes where moisture protection and re-solubility are required.

Thanks to its very low viscosity, the resin spreads evenly inside the enclosure and optimally wets cable jackets. This minimizes voids and ensures reliable insulation—even at lower application temperatures. The material cures at room temperature, remains permanently flexible, and can be removed if necessary.

With an elongation of up to 300%, the resin can be easily applied around or wrapped around cable connections. It is rated for voltages up to 1 kV, withstands a continuous temperature of up to 90 °C, and adheres to virtually all common cable jacket materials. It also meets relevant standards and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
