3M™ Scotchcast Casting Resin Connection Kit

The 3M™ Scotchcast™ Premium Resin Cable Connection Kits of the 92-NBA series were developed for fast, safe, and professional insulation of low-voltage cable connections. All kits in this series feature a one-piece, transparent casting shell, which makes handling particularly easy and significantly reduces installation time. The clear housing shell allows for visual verification of the cables’ correct positioning at any time during installation.

The 3M™ Scotchcast™ Cable Resin 40 included in the set is a high-quality, water-repellent polyurethane resin that provides reliable electrical insulation, moisture sealing, and mechanical protection. Installation is quick and clean via an integrated casting spout. Pre-formed, perforated foam gaskets eliminate time-consuming steps such as sawing or sealing with tape and ensure a secure closure of the shell.

The closed mixing and pouring system minimizes contact with the resin during processing and, thanks to the transparent mixing bag, allows for easy monitoring of the mixing process. The connection kit is suitable for one- to five-conductor, unshielded low-voltage cables and can be used indoors and outdoors, as well as in the ground or underwater. In addition, the system is RoHS- and REACH-compliant and tested in accordance with EN 50393.
