The 3M™ Scotchcast ™ Premium Epoxy Resin 4 GS is a two-component, CMC-free electrical potting compound for cable connections in the low-voltage range up to 1 kV. The unique 3M formulation changes color after the two components of the resin have been properly mixed. The resin offers improved moisture resistance during the curing process and comes with an innovative dispensing nozzle that facilitates easy and clean application.

3M™ Scotchcast™ Premium Epoxy Resin 4 GS is a versatile electrical potting compound supplied in a two-component pouch. After successfully mixing the two yellow and blue components, the resin takes on a homogeneous green color and turns dark green after curing. It is suitable for electrical insulation and mechanical protection of cable connections in the low-voltage range up to 1 kV. The super-hydrophobic 3M™ Scotchcast™ Premium Epoxy Resin 4 GS meets the requirements of IEC 60455-3-8, complies with EU Directives 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and 1907/2007/EC (REACH), and guarantees electrical insulation of the highest standard for safe, professional use.
