Beschreibung
tesa HAF® 8401 is a heat-activated film based on nitrile rubber and phenolic resin.
The amber-colored, carrier-free material is covered with a paper liner and is easy to cut and die-cut.
At room temperature, tesa HAF® 8401 is non-tacky. The activation temperature for pre-fixation is approximately 90°C. In a second processing step, the product is applied under pressure and heat.
After full curing, tesa HAF® 8401
- achieves extremely high bond strength
- very high temperature resistance
- and excellent chemical resistance.
The adhesive joint remains elastic.
