The 3M™ 583 heat-activated adhesive film is a flexible, thermosetting adhesive based on nitrilphenol, designed for strong, durable, and precise bonding. It can be activated by heat or by solvents and is ideal for industrial applications requiring high adhesion, temperature resistance, and reliability.
With its slightly tacky surface, the film is easy to position and process. It can also be cross-linked by heat to achieve even greater strength and durability. The 3M™ 583 also enables low-temperature lamination and can be processed precisely into die-cut parts—ideal for automated production processes.
