Beschreibung
3M™ VHB™ High-Performance Adhesive Tape 5952 in black is a 1.1 mm thick, double-sided acrylic adhesive tape that adapts particularly flexibly to a wide variety of surfaces—even textured or uneven ones. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive creates an immediate, reliable bond that lasts permanently. It is an excellent replacement for mechanical fasteners such as screws, rivets, or welds, thereby eliminating steps such as drilling, grinding, or finishing.
Thanks to its high load-bearing capacity, it reduces vibrations and shocks, provides a watertight seal, and allows for the use of lighter, thinner, or different materials. The closed-cell acrylate material ensures a stress-free, flat bond—on both smooth and powder-coated or low-energy surfaces such as certain plastics (excluding soft PVC) and glass. In many cases, no primer is required.
