3M™ Universal Adhesive 10 is used without a hardener and has a long open time. The product is water- and oil-resistant and is used for bonding metals and plastics. Particularly suitable for bonding laminates, decorative panels, and hardboard, as well as plywood, veneers, sheet metal, rubber, leather, and textiles.

Nitrile rubber-based universal adhesive 3M™ Universal Adhesive 10 has been in use for over 60 years and delivers impressive performance on many substrates. Solvent Adhesive 10 is characterized by good resistance to aging, UV, and moisture—its long open time allows for positioning and alignment of the materials. Possible applications: Production of stable composite panels, joints with high initial adhesion, woodworking. Adhesive application: 3M™ Solvent-Based Adhesive 10 is applied using a spray gun, brush, or roller. Stir the product well before use and apply evenly to both surfaces. If the solvent-based adhesive is applied in overlapping coats, this first coat should sufficiently wet most surfaces. Highly absorbent and porous substrates may require a second application. Following the flash-off time, which depends on temperature, humidity, and air circulation as well as the porosity of the material surfaces, the components are joined within the open time.
