The moisture-curing 3M™ Polyurethane Seam Sealants (1K) are suitable for sealing seams during vehicle repairs.
The 3M™ Polyurethane Seam Sealants consist of a high-strength 1K adhesive sealant and cure in the presence of atmospheric moisture within 24 hours to form a robust, flexible material. (Curing speed depends on bead thickness and environmental conditions.) Temperature-resistant from –40 °C to +90 °C (up to 120 °C for short periods). Ideal for sealing medium-width and wide body joints and weld seams. Also suitable for wood and plastic. Can be applied directly to bare steel; suitable as a weld-through sealant. For this, the product must still be wet (within 35 minutes of application). The product must cure before applying water-based base coats (at least 45 minutes).
