Polyolefin-based hot-melt adhesive. Particularly suitable for plastics and for electrical/electronic applications. Good peel strength. Resistant to cold and thermal shock cycling. Bonding of PE, PP, as well as potting and reinforcing components.

3M™ Scotch Weld™ 3748 is a polyolefin-based hot-melt adhesive. The product, with 100% solids content, is UL listed, offers high mechanical and thermal resistance, and is particularly suitable for applications in the electrical and electronics industry. In addition, the hot-melt adhesive offers excellent peel strength and high temperature resistance up to 80°C. Scotch Weld 3748 is used, for example, for bonding low-energy plastics such as PE and PP, as well as for potting electrical/electronic components and reinforcing components on printed circuit boards.
