Beschreibung
The 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ SI 1500 is a high-viscosity, surface-insensitive cyanoacrylate adhesive specially developed for the fast and reliable bonding of porous, natural materials such as wood, cork, leather, fabrics, or cardboard. Thanks to its gel consistency, it does not run and is ideal for precise applications or filling small gaps.
Unlike traditional cyanoacrylate adhesives, the SI 1500 requires only minimal moisture to cure—even on difficult, slightly acidic, or slightly soiled surfaces. It offers excellent gap-filling capability, high tensile strength (up to 200 bar with a thin adhesive application), and rapid curing—often within seconds.
Ideal for applications in crafts, furniture making, or industrial manufacturing where precise, durable adhesive bonds with natural materials are required.
