3M™ Adhesive and Sealant 800 is a nitrile rubber-based sealant with good adhesion to metallic surfaces. This fast-drying, flexible, rubber-like sealant is resistant to oil, fuel, weather and moisture. 3M™ Adhesive and Sealant 800 is primarily used for sealing ventilation ducts in air conditioning systems. The product is also used for sealing narrow joints and gaps in metal construction

With 3M™ Scotch-Seal™ Nitrile Rubber-Based Sealant 800, you can be sure of a flexible, rubber-like seal that is resistant to weathering, water, oil and petrol. Our reddish-brown, spreadable sealant is suitable for sealing metal to glass in windows and doors once air-dried. It exhibits excellent adhesion to aluminium, cold-rolled and galvanised steel, glass, many plastics and other surfaces. The sealant is also resistant to cleaning agents and soapy solutions and is no longer tacky after five minutes.
