Beschreibung
3M™ 4014 Sound-Dampening Aluminum Foam Panels are specifically designed to reduce vibrations and resonance noise in large-scale applications. They consist of a 250-mil-thick, open-cell polyurethane foam that effectively absorbs vibrations and, in combination with the robust aluminum-urethane backing, converts them into heat.
The integrated pressure-sensitive acrylate adhesive ensures strong and durable adhesion even on textured and uneven surfaces. The sheets are quick and easy to install—simply peel off the protective liner, position, and press lightly. Especially in large-scale applications, they offer an excellent cost-performance ratio per kilogram installed.
3M™ 4014 Aluminum Foam Panels reduce continuous vibrations, minimize disruptive noise, and help reduce material fatigue. At the same time, they are moisture- and age-resistant, can be used at low temperatures down to −70 °C, and meet the requirements of the F.A.R. 25.853(b) flammability standard. This makes them suitable for demanding applications in industry, transportation, and engineering.
