The 3M™ Series 8000 Particle Masks are our pre-formed respirators. They offer FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 respiratory protection with a convex shape and provide a comfortable fit for a wide range of face sizes.

The 3M™ 8833 respirator offers both a comfortable fit and maximum safety. It meets the special requirements (R D) for masks that may be used for more than one shift. Its special features make it a particularly comfortable and high-performance particulate respirator. Its soft, padded inner lining ensures a comfortable fit—and also guarantees a secure seal even without a foam insert. Its special structure, the waffle pattern along the mask’s edge, and the extra-wide, all-around face seal also contribute to a comfortable fit and safety. Additionally, its material is skin-friendly. The particulate respirator features colored, tear-resistant comfort straps. The color-coded straps make it easy to identify the mask’s protection level (red = protection level FFP3 R D). Another feature is its adjustable M-shaped nose clip: It quickly and easily adapts to the wearer’s nose shape and prevents uncomfortable pressure points. Thanks to its particularly sturdy cup construction, the particulate respirator offers high stability. A key feature is the 3M™ Cool Flow™ exhalation valve. It prevents heat and moisture buildup inside the mask and makes breathing easier. This ensures comfortable protection at all times—even in warm, humid environments. Finally, the 3M™ Advanced Electret filter media ensures maximum protection with the lowest possible breathing resistance. The 3M™ 8833 respirator has a protection level of FFP3 R D. The exposure limit is 30 times the particle limit value. Its applications include the construction industry, agriculture, quarries, the clay and ceramics industry, iron and steel foundries, shipbuilding, the chemical industry, metalworking and processing, the pharmaceutical industry, and construction.
