The 3M™ Specialty Respirator Program offers reliable respiratory protection in protection classes FFP1, FFP2, and FFP3 and was specifically developed for work areas with combined dust and odor exposure. The respirators effectively protect against particles such as dust and mist while reducing unpleasant odors.

An integrated activated carbon layer minimizes odor nuisance and—depending on the model—also protects against low concentrations of organic vapors, acidic gases, and ozone. This makes the masks particularly suitable for environments where gaseous contaminants occur alongside fine dust, such as during welding or in waste processing.

The lightweight, dimensionally stable design ensures high wearing comfort and a reliable fit. The convex shape, an adjustable nose clip, a soft inner seal, and flexible head straps allow for a good fit across different face sizes. The textile, color-coded straps facilitate quick identification of the respective protection level: yellow for FFP1, blue for FFP2, and red for FFP3.

The masks are optimally designed to be combined with 3M eye and hearing protection products, thereby supporting a comprehensive protection concept.
