The 3M™ PELTOR™ X1 earmuffs offer reliable protection against low to moderate noise levels and feature a lightweight, slim design. With a noise reduction rating of 26–27 dB (SNR, depending on the model) and tested to EN 352:2020, they are ideal for industrial applications where effective but not oversized hearing protection is required.

The X1 is color-coded in light green and represents the first protection level within the 3M™ PELTOR™ X series. This makes it easy to quickly select the appropriate protection level. The slim, robust ear cups made of impact-resistant ABS plastic with an additional TPU coating offer high durability while providing excellent compatibility with other PPE.

The foam technology developed by 3M ensures a reliable acoustic seal and comfortable fit. The double-headband design with an internal stainless steel core ensures consistent contact pressure for up to 8 hours and supports even weight distribution. The wide, flat headband is electrically insulated (“dielectric”) and also reduces heat buildup on the head—ideal for applications with a risk of sparks or static electricity.

The X1 earmuffs are available in a headband version as well as with a neckband or helmet attachment. Replaceable hygiene kits enable easy maintenance and contribute to low maintenance costs.
