Beschreibung

The 3M™ Xtract™ backing pads were developed specifically for aggressive surface grinding and combine a slim, robust design with the innovative 3M Xtract™ multi-hole pattern. This patented hole structure ensures particularly efficient dust extraction, prevents clogging of the sanding discs, and thereby enables significantly higher productivity as well as a cleaner work environment.

Made of high-density foam, the backing pads feature a blunt edge that tapers at a 35-degree angle. This makes them durable and stable, yet flexible enough to be used for precise surface sanding. The one-piece threaded shank reduces vibrations and improves balance during operation.

Thanks to the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system, sanding discs can be changed quickly and securely, which increases service life and makes the work process significantly more efficient. When combined with a dust extraction unit and the appropriate 3M Xtract™ sanding discs (sold separately), this creates a powerful system for optimal dust control and maximum material removal.
