The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ cloth discs 947A are designed for high grinding performance and reliable results. Their precision-shaped ceramic grit ensures that each grain cuts optimally, enabling very fast material removal. Supported by a special abrasive additive, the temperature remains low during grinding, making the discs particularly well-suited for sensitive metal surfaces.
The robust X-fabric backing provides the discs with stability, while the Hookit™ hook-and-loop fastening ensures a secure hold and quick disc changes. The 947A discs are available in various grits and diameters and can be used on both angle grinders and random-orbit sanders—depending on the specific model, with or without holes.
