3M-769F Fan Discs

The 3M™ 769F Fan Disc was developed for demanding grinding applications and offers an excellent combination of efficiency and durability. Its special, precision-shaped ceramic grit removes material extremely quickly and remains highly effective throughout its entire service life. During use, the abrasive flaps wear down evenly and continuously expose fresh grit—ensuring that cutting performance remains consistently high.

Thanks to its flexible, flap-like construction, the disc conforms very well to the workpiece surface and produces a uniform grinding pattern. At the same time, less pressure is required, which minimizes heat input and makes the disc particularly well-suited for temperature-sensitive metals such as stainless steel or carbon steel. It handles both efficient rough grinding and the subsequent finish—ideal for fast, cost-effective work processes.
