With the 3M™ Cubitron™ II 969F flap disc, 3M expands its flap disc line with a more robust version that, thanks to its optimized design, delivers longer service life even under higher contact pressure and on more challenging surfaces (burrs). Key features of this flap disc include the higher packing density of the abrasive flaps combined with a durable flap backing.

The 3M™ precision-shaped ceramic grain contributes significantly to the performance of this disc. The grain tips of the triangular plates break during the grinding process, ensuring that sharp cutting edges are always maintained. This results in a continuously clean finish on the material’s surface. The result is a fast, cool grind and extended service life of the abrasive.
