The 3M Xtract™ Cubitron™ II 775L film disc is designed for professional sanding applications that require both high material removal rates and a clean finish. The precision-shaped ceramic grains work with sharp edges and high efficiency, ensuring controlled material removal without unnecessarily stressing the surface. This delivers fast results while maintaining a long service life—even with fine grits up to 1,000+.

Dust control plays a central role in machine sanding. This is exactly where the 3M Xtract™ multi-hole pattern comes in: It enables particularly even and effective dust extraction across the entire disc surface. As a result, the abrasive grain remains effective longer, heat build-up is reduced, and the sanding pattern remains consistent.

The durable film backing offers significantly higher tear resistance and edge stability than conventional paper discs. In combination with the 3M™ Hookit™ hook-and-loop system, the discs can be changed quickly, secured firmly, and reused multiple times. The film disc is suitable for numerous materials such as metals, wood, composites, as well as painted or coated surfaces, covering a wide range of applications from roughing to finishing.
