The 3M Xtract™ Cubitron™ II 775L film disc was developed for efficient, clean, and precise grinding processes in machine grinding. It combines high material removal, long service life, and excellent dust extraction in a versatile grinding disc.

At the heart of its performance is the 3M precision-shaped ceramic grain. The triangular grain structure cuts through the material in a controlled manner rather than displacing it. This achieves rapid material removal while maintaining a fine surface finish. Even in the fine grits up to 1,000+, the grinding performance remains consistently high without compromising the finish.

The patented 3M Xtract™ multi-hole pattern ensures particularly effective dust extraction. Grinding dust is reliably removed, which prevents the disc from clogging, extends service life, and keeps the work environment cleaner. At the same time, the hole pattern allows for quick disc changes without the need for precise alignment.

The robust film backing offers significantly higher tear resistance and edge stability than conventional paper discs—in both dry and wet applications. In combination with the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system, the discs can be easily attached, cleanly removed, and reused multiple times throughout their service life. The film disc is suitable for a wide variety of materials, including metals, wood, composites, paints, primers, and other coatings.
