The 3M Xtract™ Cubitron™ II 775L film disc combines state-of-the-art abrasive technology with high efficiency and clean operation. Its precision-shaped ceramic grains—available in grits ranging from 80+ to 1000+—ensure that each grain actively cuts, removing material significantly faster than conventional abrasives. At the same time, the resulting finish remains fine and even, even during intensive use.

For machine sanding, the disc is equipped with the 3M Xtract™ Multihole pattern. This patented hole pattern enables particularly effective dust extraction across the entire surface. This reduces dust exposure, prevents clogging of the abrasive surface, and significantly extends the disc’s service life—a clear advantage over traditional 5- or 6-hole systems. Additionally, there is no need to align the disc on the backing pad, which speeds up disc changes and boosts productivity.

The durable backing offers high tear and edge strength and remains dimensionally stable even during wet and dry applications. Thanks to the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system, the discs can be quickly attached, removed without leaving residue, and reused multiple times—ideal for dust-intensive work areas where self-adhesive discs reach their limits.

The 775L is suitable for many materials: metals, composites, wood, paints, primers, and other coated surfaces. When used with a 3M Xtract™ backing pad and a compatible random orbital sander, it delivers maximum performance with minimal effort.
