The 3M Xtract™ Cubitron™ II 775L film disc combines modern abrasive technology with high process reliability in machine applications. The precision-shaped ceramic grain works particularly efficiently because it removes material through cutting action. This not only achieves high removal rates but also significantly extends the service life of the grinding disc—while maintaining a consistently high-quality surface finish. The discs are available in a wide range of grits from 80+ to 1,000+.

A key advantage is the specially developed 3M Xtract™ multi-hole pattern. It ensures significantly improved dust extraction across the entire sanding surface. This reduces clogging of the disc, promotes a uniform sanding pattern, and contributes to a clean, productive work environment. At the same time, the hole design allows for quick disc changes without time-consuming alignment.

Compared to conventional paper backing, the high-performance film backing offers greater tear resistance and excellent edge stability. This makes the film disc suitable for both dry and wet applications. In combination with the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system, the discs can be securely fastened, removed without leaving residue, and reused multiple times. The 775L film disc is versatile and suitable for metals, wood, composites, as well as painted, primed, and coated surfaces—from heavy material removal to precise finishing.
