3M Hookit Disc 775L

The 3M™ Xtract™ Cubitron™ II 775L film disc is a high-performance sanding disc for machine sanding and was specifically developed for users who want to combine high material removal, consistent surface quality, and clean working conditions. With its wide grit range from 80+ to 1,000+, it is suitable for virtually all sanding stages—from rough removal to fine finishing.

It utilizes 3M precision-shaped ceramic grit, which cuts efficiently through the material thanks to its defined geometry. Compared to conventional abrasives, there is less friction, resulting in faster material removal and a consistent finish. At the same time, service life is significantly increased, as new cutting edges form continuously during grinding.

A key component of its performance is the 3M Xtract™ multi-hole pattern. This ensures particularly effective dust extraction directly at the grinding surface. The result: less clogging, longer disc life, and a significantly cleaner work environment. Disc changes are quick and easy, as no alignment on the backing pad is necessary.

The tear-resistant film backing offers greater stability and edge strength than conventional paper backing. As a result, the disc retains its shape even during demanding applications and delivers consistent results—whether for dry or wet sanding. In combination with the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system, the discs can be securely attached, cleanly removed, and reused multiple times. The film disc is versatile and can be used on metals, wood, composites, as well as on painted, primed, and coated surfaces.
