3M Hookit Disc 775L

The 3M™ Xtract™ Cubitron™ II 775L film disc was developed for professional sanding applications where efficiency, cleanliness, and surface quality are key. It is suitable for both heavy-duty material removal and precise finishing work, and covers a wide range of applications thanks to its broad grit range.

It utilizes 3M precision-shaped ceramic grit, whose special triangular structure actively cuts into the workpiece. This achieves rapid material removal without unnecessarily heating the material or compromising the finish. Sanding performance remains consistently high throughout the entire service life—even with very fine grits up to 1,000+.

A key feature of the 775L is the 3M Xtract™ multi-hole pattern. This ensures particularly effective dust extraction directly at the grinding surface. This reduces clogging of the disc, extends its service life, and contributes to a significantly cleaner work environment. At the same time, it eliminates the time-consuming process of aligning the disc on the backing pad, which speeds up disc changes.

The tear-resistant film backing offers significantly higher edge stability and durability compared to conventional paper backing. This makes the film disc suitable for both dry and wet applications. When used with the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system, the discs can be easily attached, cleanly removed, and reused multiple times throughout their service life.
