3M Hookit Disc 775L

The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Film Disc 775L was developed for high-performance sanding and finishing tasks where speed, service life, and surface quality are equally critical. It is suitable for a wide range of materials and covers applications from heavy-duty material removal to fine finishing.

At the heart of the disc is the 3M precision-shaped ceramic grain. Thanks to its triangular grain structure, it cuts through the workpiece in a controlled manner rather than displacing the material. The result is fast material removal with reduced heat generation and consistently high grinding performance throughout the entire service life—even with very fine grits up to 1,000+.

The robust film backing provides significantly higher tear resistance and edge stability than conventional paper backing. This keeps the disc dimensionally stable and delivers consistent surface quality in both dry and wet applications. In combination with the 3M™ Hookit™ hook-and-loop system, the discs can be changed quickly, secured firmly, and reused multiple times, which reduces work interruptions and increases cost-effectiveness.

The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Film Disc 775L is designed for use on metals, wood, composites, as well as painted, primed, or coated surfaces. When used with 3M Xtract™ random orbital sanders, sanding performance can be further optimized.
